1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 kjv.
12. And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13. And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
Recognizing and honoring the authority of those who diligently work in leadership roles within the church, while also urging the congregation to hold them in high regard and live in peace with one another.
Ephesians 4:11-12 kjv.
11. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Roles of different spiritual gifts and leadership positions within the church to equip and build up the body of the body of Christ.
Acts 2:38
